Daily new confirmed COVID-19 cases per million people
Shown is the rolling 7-day average. The number of confirmed cases is lower than the number of actual cases; the main reason for that is
limited testing.

Cases continue to come down globally:
Media trying to show discrepancies in the Biden team response. CDC and
Walensky under criticism for their recent guidelines for opening schools since they
are really quite confusing. They say open the schools but the guidelines show that
85-90% of the country is in the "red" zone and therefore, should hold off on
opening. I believe that this is typical CDC confusion and lack of clear crisp
guidelines no matter who is CDC Director. Also, the are pitting (a little) what I am
saying against what VP Harris is saying. VP saying that we have to "start from
scratch" in the vaccine roll out and I have been saying that some things were done
well such as the mechanism for shipping vaccines. I reconcile this by saying that
the mechanisms for getting doses into people's arms were in bad shape when the
Biden team came in. The press are accepting this.
