Fatality dally rates are now twice the Summer surge and are now passing the Spring surge priar to the impact af CA cases it will be critical that monoclonal Ab and Remdesivir are used earlier and more consistently among vulnerable Americans This Winter surge will be bigger, broader, and more deadly but can still be changed with messaging to states and health care providers. There is insufficient vaccine or prioritization for vulnerable Americans to change hospitalization and fatalities trends in Dec-Feb-- we need to be clear to the American people vaccines will have an impact in the Spring but NOT over the next 3 months.
