Janet Tobias interviewed President George W. Bush for her documentary and he
was really funny. He sent me a message ".....hang in there; the country needs
you" and he said "...I would have been able to kick your ass in running; the
security detail used to be not able to keep up. I hear that you power walk now and
I damn sure can't run anymore at 74, let alone 79". 😊
I received virtually a citation from Eric Adams Borough President of Brooklyn at a
ceremony on the steps of Borough Hall. It was called COVID Heroes. The other
heroes cheered me on during my acceptance speech.
Had my every 2 week meeting with the David Barr-organized people in the
trenches to talk about the dire situation with >100,000 infections per day and major
increases in hospitalizations: LaQuandra Nesbitt (DC), Alison Arwady (Chicago),
Sharon Balter (LA), Jeff Duchin (Seattle), Demetre Daskalakis (NYC), Preetha
Iyengar (NOLA). Clearly Scott Atlas is dead wrong.
