11 October 2020 The overall picture continues to deteriorate raising concerns across the United States there are deeply concerning trendlines across the upper North West Upper Mid West and now the NorthEast, Rising test positivityand cases and now resulting in rising hospitalizations, NO, MT, WY all have populations size similar to VT, MH, and Maine and had test pasitivity rates equal ta the these Morth East States 2 manths ago and are now in fulllog spread, Low populationdensities and small metros are nat protectian trom viral spread inthe community and leads to increased hospitalizations and deaths Currently the Heartland 6 states with less than 19M total population had #5 deaths yesterday (ona low day of reporting) and is growing daily Small clusters can rapidly and silenth spread to large outbreaks -- this spreadis preventable with aggressive mitigation: this is mot about shutting down but using the clear evidence based mitigation that has worked -- which requires behavioral changes both in public and private.
