My colleague Hilary said I should contact you if I'm trying to offer Dr. Fauci the opportunity to comment on a story. I spoke to Dr. Scott Atlas yesterday, who had some things to say about Fauci. Atlas slammed Fauci for using "media contacts to make public criticisms of other people out of insecurity." He also criticized Fauci for saying "everyone should wear goggles" and for "ridiculing" Sen. Rand Paul for suggesting that some people have a natural immunity to the virus. "To ridicule that statement shows a complete lack of understanding and a lack of the current scientific research," Atlas said. He added: "I think a lot of the criticism stems from people who are either politically motivated or are interested in maintaining their own stature in the public eye."
