30 August2020 Improvement in many of the original red states but increasing cases in ND, 5D, 1A, IL, IN, AR, MO and in the some of the réd states driven by University opening Stalling of case declines and test positivity due ta new outbreaks and high hospitalizatians but the continued slow decline in deaths driven by the improvements in TX, CA, FL, AZ, GA (more than 50% of current mortality) -- need to ensure this new round of cases does mot drive increased hospitalizations and deaths : University students should not be sent hame but quarantined and treated on campus The New Red States (5) of this week's Governor's Report -- Most significant deterioration in the last week : SD with increase in both test positivity and cases/100,000 =-- The remaining red states are all improving : TX, ID, NV, SC The New Yellow States (24) of this week's Governor's Report -- Most significant deterioration in the last week: DA with increase in both test positivity and cases/'100,000 1A has the highest cases/100,000 in the USA -- Yellow States : Deteriorating : AL, KS, TN, IN, M0, HI, KY, MN, NE, VA, MT -- Yellow States: stable : NE, MS, AR, OK, IL, NIC, Wil -- Yellow States : Improving : Az, UT, GA, FL, CA, LA There are 21 Green States = 2 of which are deteriorating : ND (most), Ml The slides 5-7 are last weeks designations as the report will reflect todays designations in Monday's report --Global USA Sunday shows dominated by recent GOP convention and the blatant lies that Trump spewed forth during the convention. August 31, 2020 - Global USA Trump stoking violence (racial tensions) in Kenosha, WI and Portland, OR QAnon misrepresenting data from CDC that says that about 9000 out of the >180,000 deaths reported for COVID-19 had only COVID-19 on the death certificate. The remainder also had other underlying conditions. QAnon is saying that all the other deaths had nothing to do with COVID-19. The POTUS loves this and is tweeting that Fauci and Birx shut down the country for only 9000 deaths. What an idiot!!
