POTUS had 4th Juy celebration on South Lawn (I and Chris were invited) that was crowded and no one wearing masks. I did not attend. Not just USA, there are major outbreaks in Brazil, Mexico, Asia (Japan, North Korea, etc). I have been having several 30 minute deep background conversations with Bob Woodward who is writing a book on the Trump response to the outbreak. Margaret Brennan on "Face the Nation" came out and explicitly said that the Trump administration was blocking my appearing onTV including their show where they continually ask for me and have been refused. This clearly triggered a response either/or in HHS and the WH because Caputo texted me in the afternoon and asked what my priority shows would be for next week. I said NewsHour with Judy Woodruff and Today with Savannah Guthrie. Savannah would be on vacation and so we went with CNN Town Hall with Sanjay Gupta and Anderson Cooper.
