New Dally Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in the U.S. Day Micwing Avcraga i Daily Caputo (sleezebag) and White House comms playing games with me in that they are not allowing me to go out on TV as we enter the 4th July weekend to instruct people on how to avoind infection. They do not respond to multiple requests for me to appear. I spoke yesterday to Judy Woodruff (PBS NewsHour) and Andrea Mitchell (NBC News), bot of who want me on their show as does Jim laCosta (CNN). Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and LtGov Dan Patrick (TX) attacking me for what I am saying about how to avoid infection. Dan Patrick denying that TX skipped over checkpoints in opening and accused me of lying about this. I never specifically said they did. I said "some states" skipped over guidelines" Guilty conscience?? CNN did a fact check and called him out as completely incorrect. Interesting exchange involving Michael Caputo, me an Alyssa Farah. Michael is full of shit, for sure. He claims to be trying to ge me on TV saying that the WH is blocking. And so I wrote an e-mail to him with copy to Alyssa today: Michael: I am sorry to disturb you on this holiday weekend, but I feel compelled to again reach out to you. As you are painfully aware, our country is in a very serious situation with resurgences of COVID-19 cases in multiple states at record levels. I believe that it is our moral responsibility to get out the public health messages about personal and societal responsibility to urge people (particularly young people) to protect themselves and others from getting infected as we enter the holiday weekend. Messages from public health officials like myself and my colleagues are critical to this effort and will save lives. As you know, I have been asked by virtually every network
