Call today from Rajeev Vankayya inquiring about whether I might want to be on Board of
CEPI and also his new company after I step down. I told him I cannot talk about this until
I actually step down.

I received a phone call today, former vice president Richard Cheney congratulating me on
my career and thanking me for all that I have done over the decades that I had been in
public service. We went on to reminisce about the things we did together to take away the
creation of project bioshield. I told him how impressed I was with what his daughter lives
was doing and pushing back against the extreme right and the trump people. He is
obviously very proud of her and expressed that.
