Given his rebound positivity which we reported yesterday, we continued daily monitoring. This morning, unsurprisingly, his SARS-CoV-2 antigen testing remained positive, The President will continue his strict isolation measures as previously described. He will continue to conduct the business of the American people from the Executive Residence. As I have stated previously, the President continues to be very specifically conscientious to protect any of the Executive Residence, White House, Secret Service and other staff whose duties require any (albeit socially distanced) proximity to him. She is coming back from a trip to Uganda and Kenya. She thanked me profusely for sticking up for the CDC's decision about allocation of vaccines for monkey pox. Got a call from Jen Ashton of ABC expressing concern about something that I have been almost obsessing about today and most recently. That is the fact that the public may be taking monkeypox too lightly assuming that it will stay confined to the population of men who have sex with men. In addition, we are doing nothing proactively to encourage people to cancel such events as "Southern Decadence" and Black gay pride galas. We are starting to see cases of spillover into non men who have sex with men populations. Also, there is so much that we do not
