As I'm sure you know, Steve Rosenberg, NCI, was also selected as a Dan David Prize winner. Below is an excerpt from an email Steve received from Dan David inviting him to suggest candidates for its scholarship program. I assume you received a similar invitation. I discussed this with Gretchen Weaver in OGC, and it was determined that making such recommendations is impermissible under our regulations. Since this is an optional activity, I expect this won't cause any problems. Please let me know if you have any questions. Doctoral / Postdoctoral Scholarships Please note that you are welcome to suggest doctoral and postdoctoral researchers for the Dan David Prize scholarship. The candidate should submit an application through our website www.dandavidprize.org, adhering to all the relevant requirements. An ad-hoc committee headed by the Vice Rector of Tel Aviv University and members from the relevant departments will review the applications. Students recommended by the laureates will have high priority. Please note that the deadline for submitting an application is March 10, 2021.
