She had given Commencement Address to the Law School that day. Sat next to Stuart Miller who had donated $200 million to the U of M Medical School, which is now named after him. Stayed at Biltmore Hotel in Coral Cables and went on nice long, warm run May 12, 2012 - Received honorary Doctor of Science at University of Miami and delivered Commencement Address. Beautiful and enjoyable day. May 14-16, 2012 - Megan's graduation. Arrived evening of May 14 and had dinner with Meg, Jen, Chris, and Amanda at Gazala restaurant (Israeli) on Columbus Avenue and 78th Street. Great time. Day of May 15 - Megan's College of Arts and Sciences Commencement. Megan graduates Summa Cum Laude!!!! Amazing kid. Dinner that night at a Vegan restaurant. Stayed at Denise and Jack apartment. May 16 - full University graduation. Columbia president Bollinger gave address. Of note, President Obama gave commencement address at Barnard 2 days before, much to the dismay of the Columbia Community.
