BARIC: There was a conference in, if I remember correctly, it was a conference in Hong Kong, and I went from Hong Kong to Wuhan for a second conference. MS. SALAZAR: And then did you go with any other Americans? DR. BARIC: I mean, there's a picture of the people at that conference, and there are several Americans there. Do you want me to mention their names? MS. SALAZAR: Yes. DR. BARIC: That's too bad. Jim Crowe. He's not going to be happy with me. He was there, as well. He's a Vanderbilt researcher who works on monoclonals. I think Peter Daszak was there, as well. Those are the two that immediately come to mind. MS. SALAZAR: Fang Li? DR. BARIC: I can't remember if Fang was there or not. MS. SALAZAR: I think he was, because in this email he said, "It was nice chatting with you in Wuhan." DR. BARIC: There we go. MS. SALAZAR: And so Peter Daszak was there, and we have some emails that suggest that Zhengli Shi was also in
