SALAZAR: Yes. DR. BARIC: Certainly the House Committee asked, and that's when I realized that I might be confused about which meetings I was on. MS. SALAZAR: But you are confident you were on the February 1st call. DR. BARIC: Well, I recognize most of the names on the call, and I know what they talked about, so I was on that call. MS. SALAZAR: And did you communicate with anyone else that was on that call following the call, about the call, like Ron Fouchier? DR. BARIC: No, I don't recall that. I know that Kristian Andersen sent me an email later, to get together to talk about something, but I don't think it ever occurred. I like Kristian Andersen. MS. SALAZAR: Do you know him well? DR. BARIC: Not that well, but we met at meetings, and I enjoyed talking with him. I think he's a good scientist. MS. SALAZAR: There's some that believe that you may have been a reviewer of Proximal Origins.
