I was great that Richard and Eliezer could participate in the working session last week. I understand that their input and engagement was extremely helpful. I appreciate the NIA's participation in this coalition of like-minded funders to help strengthen the data ecosystem for Alzheimer's disease. I am convinced that better leveraging the data being generated by studies funded by the NIH can accelerate the development of an effective treatment for Alzheimer's disease. I was excited to hear that the discussion was productive and that the group agreed to work together to improve data access, drive interoperability across existing Alzheimer's disease data platforms, and strengthen the data ecosystem for Alzheimer's. I know that NIH and NIA are already making strong efforts to promote data sharing, and I believe these will provide a strong foundation on which we can build. Your partnership has been invaluable, and I thank you for joining the effort to driving a more coordinated data ecosystem. We are already benefiting greatly from your leadership and insight. I look forward to our continued collaboration.
