Bart: I just realized as I was going through the details of the nomination for the Dan David Prize that the themes for the 2019 awards are not science/medicine. That was last year. And so we will hold off on this until medicine/science returns as a theme. Thanks anyway. Best regards, Tony

Bart: Another possible award would be the Heinz Award. The category would be for "The Human Condition" . Paul Farmer has gotten this in the past. We can use the PEPFAR piece in addition to the science and NIAID leadership issue. We obviously will take care of all of that on my end. The only minor glitch is that in order to nominate me you need to write to them, send your CV and indicate that you want to serve as a nominator. They do this because they do not want just anyone nominating anyone. If you do not mind, could you write to them with your CV and indicate that you would like to be a nominator (see below for explanation). I got this from their website. Let me know what you think. Many thanks. Best, Tony RELATED NEWS George Hatsopoulos, 3rd Heinz Awards recipient in Technology, the Economy and Employment, dies at aM go>?
