Ridley and Alina published an article in The Australian (nasty Murdoch mag) here yesterday. I assume it was the same rubbish. So dumb.

Seems that he wants to be doctor to the stars. What he seems to have forgotten is that there is no community COVID in Australia and no hence limited COVID restrictions in most place. Masks are not mandatory. In New South Wales you are allowed up to 100 people in your home with no restrictions. Probably explains why half of Hollywoodhave moved here. Plus, you can get same day test results for free at any number of walk-in places.

Haha, that's awesome - I can see Butt Lesion being very pleased with this role... Take the $500 / sample and have people go through the walk-ins...

And Eddie yes - the Ridley Alina article for Murdoch is a piece of work: But here is that transparency word again -"The lack of transparency surrounding the bat-virus projects is one reason the consensus on the origin of the virus has been slowly shifting. Today, a growing number of experts agreed when we put it to them that a lab leakremained a plausible hypothesis to be investigated. Another reason for this shift is that the market no longer appearsto be the site where the pandemic began." Seriously - Ridley and Alina get to decide what the consensus on originis?

They've obviously not looked at Kristian's maps either.

"Ignore all evidence that go against your claims". I see this a lot - trusting data when it's convenient (e.g., parts of the WHO report that agree with your viewpoint), but ignore everything else. Confirmation bias is a dangerous thing.
