Thanks for all this - more grist for Rixley's book I guess. I've driven to Houston making yet another attempt to getElsa (the German Shepard) to daughter in before Ramadan. I've also engaged GVN for a response toNYT/Metzl. How the guy who writes scary books and sci-fy novels about genetically engineered babies gets to bethe authority on virology labs is a mystery to me. The pushback on shutting down virologists needs to be ruthless -gloves off.
