I sympathize Andrew - Indeedily, missed some important banter. Truth MUCH stranger than fiction. I took a break from the banter to feed the dog (watching my daughter's German Shepard while she's posted in Kuwait). Then wake up to the news that Trump tests positive. That was quick. First thought: I think odds: real >95%; Covidfaker <5%. Not a good look after all the denials BS etc. This hurts him politically. Not grounds to delay the election. Second debate will be likely be cancelled. Questions: Were Hope, Trump and Melania all infected at the same time?If so whose the index case? Will there be more positives in Trump's inner circle? Do they wait to give him the Mabs?Is Fauci his doctor now?

So we are putting together the programme for Virus Genomics an Evolution 2021 (postponed from this year) - hopefully in person in September. Had a crazy idea of inviting Shi Zhengli from WIV. Probably zero chance she would come or be allowed to come but could be interesting. Anyone heard her talk? Or is it a really dumb idea?
