   I wrote to Jeremy Farrar saying that it was totally idiotic and counter-productive to put the Grand Wizard in charge ofthe Lancet team. I've no idea what they were thinking.

   Perfect Eddie! What I think will happen is that in the pursuit of objectivity Lancet's team will fell obliged to swipe"mightily" at Proximal Origins (cause GVP is a scam, we know it and we're noncoronavirologists) and present asuper-lame counter to Yan/Chan. They'll probably put something out that is the equivalent of ~DT~ Baric's ItalianHuffPost crap, which was very unhelpful. The channel posts and prior tweets do more to counter the tiresome bsthan anything Daszak et al. can muster.
