Greetings, Rob, I trust all is well with you and yours. A couple of things as we move towards firming up the June 2nd meeting: 1) There is interesting in doing some (lab) filming during Bill's visit, as part of bolstering the narrative around US R&D funding commitments and its role in global health and beyond. We'd specifically like to explore doing this at the VRC--which would dovetail with panel discussion planned on structure-guided immunogen design. Herewith an electronic handshake with Bose, who is a Science Advisor to Bill, and can follow up on details and permissions. 2) That said, we're now wondering whether the better part of valor is to have the meeting, as before, on the main campus. If there is time, Bill could potentially visit NCAT later in the day. best, Chris K d like to discuss it with Dr. Fauci when they both return 4PM rg> t Bill ing the moving parts into a fixed, final with a final agenda early next week. eir

Dear John and Greg, The Gates Foundation would like to arrange a filming of Bill at the VRC, during his visit on June 2 to participate in the annual NIH-BMGF workshop (see Chris Karp's note below). Dr. Collins noted this could be useful for many purposes. I'm awaiting further details but wanted both to give a heads-up and ask how I should coordinate with your teams as plans move forward? The workshop itself will now be on campus, and we'll seek space in the Porter Neuroscience Research Center Best regards,
