# Transcript

**[2022-02-14T14:43:40] Edward C. Holmes:** https://twitter.com/thackerpd/status/1493321839866748935?s=20&t=cQ0lhmCOPvLrFvDnWdD_Qg

**[2022-02-14T14:53:26] Kristian G. Andersen:** Good God these people are idiots.

**[2022-02-14T14:57:42] Edward C. Holmes:** Thacker is about the worst.

**[2022-02-14T14:58:50] Kristian G. Andersen:** If any of your councils would like to connect with our folks, lemme know and we can connect them.

**[2022-02-14T15:01:34] Edward C. Holmes:** Thanks. I think my side will leave it as they have no jurisdiction over me.

**[2022-02-14T15:02:08] Kristian G. Andersen:** Yeah - just keep in mind what that could mean for a future subpoena.

**[2022-02-14T15:03:15] Kristian G. Andersen:** (as opposed to a simple letter stating a few simple facts - which will show that you are corroborating and something you can point to at a later date)

**[2022-02-14T15:04:25] Edward C. Holmes:** Yes, but the subpoena has no jurisdiction over me either.

**[2022-02-14T15:04:58] Kristian G. Andersen:** Correct - however, I don't know how that could affect future travel, grants, etc.

**[2022-02-14T15:09:25] Edward C. Holmes:** I'll testify under a subpoena but I'm not responding to these pathetic accusations from a foreign power. Would be the same for the US, China, Italy, Argentina etc.

**[2022-02-14T15:10:57] Kristian G. Andersen:** Yup, totally fair - and would probably also be my choice if it wasn't for the fact that I live in this banana republic.

**[2022-02-14T15:12:39] Edward C. Holmes:** Yes, you're in a different position

**[2022-02-14T15:15:18] Robert F. Garry:** I love the part about the official was forced to shred notes ....

**[2022-02-14T15:16:22] Robert F. Garry:** I'll report back after talk with the lawyers tomorrow.

**[2022-02-14T15:17:11] Robert F. Garry:** Will encourage them to at least connect a bit.

**[2022-02-14T15:18:18] Edward C. Holmes:** The shredding bit is priceless. What bollocks.

**[2022-02-14T15:20:38] Kristian G. Andersen:** 2014 - the cover-up certainly has old roots...

**[2022-02-14T15:38:51] Robert F. Garry:** Every NIH grant review session ends ceremoniously with throwing all your handwritten review notes into the shredding box. Used to be a bigger deal when everything was on paper- there would literally be a ton of paper toshred at some of the bigger meetings.

**[2022-02-14T15:41:51] Kristian G. Andersen:** Hah - I had no idea!
