Rob Knight has been doing a ton of surface sampling from hospital rooms, rooms with confirmed infections, etc. - teeny tiny amounts of RNA can be found. It's there - but not a lot. Finding a lot of virus RNA on grates would suggest active shedding - probably fecal.

**[2021-03-09T19:18:27] Kristian G. Andersen:** Nope - I don't believe the current administration is going to be better on this particular point. Was very disappointed talking to Biden's office - they had already bought into the lab claims.
